For the remote control, you need two devices: aside from your primary phone or tablet you also need a secondary device that you take with you when leaving the boat. Your primary phone or tablet stays on the boat with the running application where the Anchor is set, later on, it will provide information to your secondary phone/tablet.
For e-mail or Telegram remote control, follow the instructions in Settings to get the connection working.
If you leave the boat and would like to check the boat status you can do that easily using the Telegram remote control. If the alarm goes off you will get notifications either via e-mail or Telegram remote control - depending on which one you enabled.
For e-mail notifications, make sure that you confirm your email address by clicking on the confirmation link in the email that you receive when modifying the email address in settings.
Please keep in mind that the reliability of remote notification depends on the network reliability of both devices.
